fExchange 2010 .local vs .com  ...  How to:
I have reached a snag point for my set up. I have finished setting up exchange server 2010 successfully and can send and receive messages, however: 1) my return addresses are listed as username@mysitename.local rather than username@mysitename.com. The .local was used when I installed Exchange 2010 and is how our active directory domain looks. How do I make it so that the .com appears instead? I would like the .com to be the default always. Should I have listed the .com instead when installing the exchange server? Thanks in advance for your help! I am new to setting up Exchange 2010. Doug Doug

You'll want to create a new SMTP address policy in recipient policies and set it as the default: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb232171.aspx
